Shree Krishna Janmashtami Lila Mahotsav 2025 at ANMC
The Australian Nepalese Multicultural Center (ANMC) celebrated Shree Krishna Janmashtami Lila Mahotsav on Saturday, 16 August 2025 (31 Shrawan 2082) at its premises in Diggers Rest. The event was filled with devotion, cultural expression, and community participation.
The celebration included the following main activities:
- Krishna Katha by Byasacharya Bhuwan Guru
- Jhanki Lila (Krishna-Radha cultural depiction)
- Bhajan Kirtan by local devotees
- Maha Aarati and Nandotsav
The program started at 4 PM and continued until 8 PM. Devotees attended in large numbers with their families and children dressed in Krishna and Radha attire, adding color and joy to the celebration.
In addition, continuous Bhajan Kirtan was held from Friday 7 PM to Saturday 1 AM, where devotees sang devotional songs and offered prayers.
The event created a warm and spiritual atmosphere and strengthened cultural and religious connection among the Nepali community in Australia.
